This guide is designed to help you acquire all the necessary elements for creating authentic synthetic voices. We will lead you through the process of choosing a voice avatar, creating and organizing clips, and implementing best practices for pronunciation. Let's get started!
1. To Create a New Job
Click on “Find Your Avatar”.
Choose a voice you like, name the job, add notes, and enter your script.
2. Enter Your Text
Pro Tip: Enter your script in blocks or paragraphs. Smaller chunks make editing and rendering more efficient, saving you time against your plan.
Click the arrow to hear the text. The clip will render in seconds, though longer scripts may take more time.
3. Adjusting Pronunciations
The AI reads text literally, so for improved accuracy, use phonetic spelling for unique words.
Individual letters: Use spaces or dashes to have a word read as individual letters (e.g., "A S A P”).
Phone numbers: To ensure correct reading of phone numbers, add spaces between numbers. Example: "(206) 555-3131" should be entered as "2 0 6 5 5 5 31 31.”
Dollar Amounts: For large amounts, type them out. Example: Instead of "$1,200,000," write "one point two million dollars.”
For years: like "2022," either write it out as words or enter it as “2,022”.
To emphasize specific words or phrases, use quotation marks. Example: To group words, “spring, summer, fall” place them in quotes for natural phrasing.
For pauses: Use commas for subtle pauses, use periods create a longer pause and a downward inflection.
For extended pauses, use ellipses, e.g., (.......), after a word
